```Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hard working individual to become the Head cook on our team. As the Head cook, you will ensure that all food handling and preparation is done in compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a culinary background and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties:
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to high standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the bartender to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Assist in menu planning and cost control efforts
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment, including knives
