OBJECTIVE:
The Senior Research Associate is responsible for performing immunological assays in support of scientific investigations. This is a laboratory-based position responsible for conducting in vitro experiments in order to produce reliable and precise data. The qualified candidate should be familiar with a variety of general laboratory techniques that are supportive of the research outlined in approved protocols. The incumbent should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.

Provide junior staff members with guidance on planned experiments, as well as technical training on new procedures.

Development of protocols and SOPs.

Support of laboratory operations including instrument operation and maintenance.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to determine needs and develop/verify applications to support research.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
BS/MS in direct field /certifications & completed studies in direct field, continued education courses.

7 - 9+ years of experience in direct field.

Experience with data analysis, preferably FlowJo.

Experience working with pre-clinical samples. Experience with non-human primate/rodent samples is preferred.

Training/experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques. BSL-3 experience a plus.
