Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated House Supervisor to oversee and coordinate patient care activities in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical care and supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties:
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to healthcare protocols
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Provide direct patient care including catheter care, pain management, and ventilator support
- Utilize anatomy knowledge for accurate assessment and care planning
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Monitor behavioral health patients and provide appropriate interventions
- Coordinate laboratory tests and interpret results for treatment planning
- Engage in case management to ensure continuity of care
- Perform airway management procedures including inhalation therapies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in healthcare settings with a focus on patient care
- Proficiency in catheter care, pain management, and ventilator support
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control
- Experience in behavioral health management is preferred
- Ability to manage laboratory tests and results interpretation
- Competency in case management practices for holistic patient care
- Skilled in airway management techniques including inhalation therapies
