Job Responsibilities:
- Writing and implementing weekly lesson plans
- Engaging students in a variety of developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Providing structured outdoor exploration and gross motor play daily
- Writing monthly newsletters
- Sending daily parent emails
- Writing daily reports for students
- Preparing bi-annual student evaluations
- Providing annual parent-teacher conferences
- Encouraging and facilitating a home-school connection
- Helping students problem solve and encourage social-emotional growth
- Provide daily feedback to parents at pick up and drop off
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field like Child Development.
- 1 year of direct experience in a group care setting for children between the age of 6 weeks and 5 years old
- Commit to one year contract
- Commit to CPR/First aid certification provided by FYC
