POSITION: Facilities Coordinator-PT
LOCATION: Lyric Theatre- New York City, NY
HOURS: Part-Time, Will not exceed 30hrs per week. Schedule will consist of nights, weekends, and holidays.
COMPENSATION: $23-25 per hour- Commensurate with Experience
ABOUT THE POSITION
ATG Entertainment is looking for a detail orientated team player with handyman and communication skills to join the expanding Facilities department. This role will not only provide vital coverage during show times at the Lyric Theatre when over 20,000 customers per week will come through the doors but also support responding to calls for Broadway’s historic Hudson Theatre in New York City during showtimes. This is an exciting opportunity that requires a proactive multitasker who has the ability to anticipate building needs in both these dynamic venues. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to work independently and able to work well under pressure. The positions regular working hours will consist of evenings and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting daily maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, Fire Panel checks, plumbing and mechanical trouble shooting to ensure building systems are functioning optimally.
- Monitor the BMS/HVAC systems to ensure desired temperature throughout the venue and handle immediate issues
- Responding promptly to maintenance request from front of house and back of house staff, addressing any issues that may arise during performances.
- Conducting pre-show inspections of the buildings facilities to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Oversee housekeeping* department during pre-show, show time, and post-show
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with Facilities Department and individual venue management teams
- Administrative tasks, including facilities performance reports, and maintenance logs
- Performing minor repairs as needed to maintain the appearance and functionality of the building.

You will be working at The Lyric Theatre. (respond to calls at Hudson Theatre)

You will need to collaborate and effectively communicate with building departments, including but not limited to management and front of house staff.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
-
High School Diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications or training 3+ Years in facilities, trade, or similar positions.

Experience with hardware tools.

Basic understanding of building operations, and HVAC systems

Good communication ability and apt in problem solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
S12 & S13 (Sprinkler & Standpipe) and S95 (Supervisory of Fire Alarm Systems) Certificates of Fitness.
If not a certificate holder, must obtain upon hiring. Experience with Landmarked Buildings.
