Americana Community Bank is looking for a Part Time Teller to join our Chanhassen team. The Teller acts as a liaison between the customer and the bank for the purpose of developing a good relationship, handles all customer transactions, and assist customers with any requests or questions they may have in person, over the phone and email. We are looking for someone motivated, detail oriented, flexible and outgoing with excellent technology skills. Availability must include 2-3 Saturdays per month by rotation.
Job Roles:
Transaction Processing
- Efficiently and accurately processing a wide range of customer banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments. Ensuring all transactions are completed with high accuracy.
Customer Service and Troubleshooting
- Providing exceptional customer service, including handling inquiries and troubleshooting customer issues. Demonstrating patience and understanding to resolve concerns effectively, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Reviewing transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and fraud. Accurate completion of CTRs and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
Sales Referral and Promotion
- Identifying opportunities to refer customers to other bank services and products that meet their needs, contributing to the bank's sales objectives. Educating customers about available banking options and services.
Operational Support
- Adhering to all bank operational procedures. Participating in training and development activities to stay informed about policy changes and ensure operational excellence.
Attendance is an essential function of this position.
