We are looking for a proven and well-organized, resolute individual to bring on board our team as the General Manager of our restaurant. This individual will assist and function under senior leadership with administering and operating the crucial business aspects at the restaurant. Besides collaborating with internal departments and across different in-house teams, you will be ensuring that the restaurant’s operations, budgets, strategies, and areas are all aligned with short- and long-term success.
To ensure success as our General Manager, this candidate should demonstrate sound and strong knowledge of BOH and FOH operations and experience in a similar role. A top General Manager candidate will be someone who’s leadership capabilities delivers results in not just profitability, but also in a thriving and motivating environment for everyone, internal team and staff, and especially customers.
Responsibilities/activities may revolve around or subjected to:
- Manage FOH & BOH operations and restaurant’s business activities to make sure they produce the desired result and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Responsible for all cash controls and company security procedures; strict and consistent adherence from manager’s accountability and responsibility for any cash transactions
- Maintain trust relations with senior/executive level management and function as a point of contact.
- Investigate problematic situations and occurrences and develop solutions to ensure company survival and growth; particularly resolving customer concerns and complaints or mitigates potential problems before affecting customers.
- Organizes and supervises shifts, assists with the establishment of floor plans based on reservations and anticipated walk-in business, and helps in any area of operations as circumstances dictate.
- Implements posted work schedules, all meanwhile adjusting as necessary to cover team member call-ins shortages or just over staff on hand depending on business needs (Labor cost control)
- Coordinate with accounting for monthly financial statements including business unit level reporting, customer and product line reporting, additional supplemental schedules, and outside reporting.
- Facilitates the consistency of high standards around organization quality control, hygiene, legality, health and safety of all stakeholders, knowledge of local, state, federal compliances, or regulations regarding key areas mentioned above.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by compiling, researching and interpreting data.
- Play an active role in the business’s marketing campaign efforts and promotion of the brand with the community to build its recognition.
- Oversee recruitment and on-boarding of new employees, evaluate, and develop existing employees, and set policies and procedures for the internal departments within the venue.
Requirements:
- Potentially comfortable working 5 full working days including some weekend nights (Fri-Sun)
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years of successful or proven restaurant general managerial experience
- Ability to work independently, and in teams, to consistently meet commitments.
- Experiences in scheduling, food service industry, effective budgeting, and customer service
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, other administration-use tools
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Utilizes initiative-taking approach to issues and problem solving.
- High personal discipline, mindfulness, and work quality
- Desire and motivation to learn new skills and expand knowledge to improve job performance and self-improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strives for excellence and upholds organizational standards such as cooperation and confidentiality.

Compensation:
- Range, depending on experience: $90,000 – 95,000 per year.
