Your Role:
The Category Sourcing Specialist uses Project Management, Analysis, Strategic Sourcing, Negotiations, and Contracting skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with an understanding of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing industry practices., The Category Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of Strategic Sourcing and Contracting working support of CSAA business and IT needs, and in support of the CSAA Strategic Sourcing team.
Your work:
Focuses on standard procurement activities involving suppliers and supplier coordination.
Facilitates contracting and contract renewal activities supporting the Strategic Sourcing team, including but not limited to Contract Approval Routing in Coupa, and submissions to the Procurement Operations for PO requirements.
Facilitates negotiations with legal and business/project representatives.
Sourcing experience and market knowledge related to the appropriate spend categories.
Finalizes and executes Statements of Work, Orders, Change orders, Basic Master Agreements, amendments, renewals, and extensions.
Participates in contract negotiations, may occasionally lead the team through the process of contract negotiations. Negotiates price and contractual terms/conditions to help achieve cost savings and risk mitigation.
Works closely with Legal, senior sourcing personnel, the Sourcing Manager, other internal stakeholders, and business clients, including IT.
Develops contracts within their category of expertise assigned.
Proficiently learns and navigates Procurement Technology, particularly Coupa.
Able to service the Business and answer general Procurement and Sourcing-related questions.
Supports management of the collaborative supplier relationship.
Develops RFP’s, RFI’s and RFQ’s integrating requirements from business and technical clients including functional and operational requirements.
Facilitates the development of the selection scoring methodology and process with business, technical and legal stakeholders. Collects and organizes data (in excel) for team to review and score when handled outside of automated tools.
Required Experience, Education and Skills
2+ years procurement experience with an emphasis on RFP, RFI, and RFQ development.
1+ years sourcing experience and market knowledge related to the applicable category (Technology, Professional Services, IT Outsourcing or Corporate).

The national average salary range for this position is $80,820- $89,800. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $72,810 - $107,900. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
