Vice President of Sales and Marketing (base salary + commission).
Understanding the Products/Services: As a salesperson, you need to thoroughly understand the managed services offered by the our company This includes wood framing, multi-family construction, and posses extensive experience in commercial wood framing and or estimating.
Generating Leads: You'll be responsible for finding potential clients, develop relationships and nurture existing ones. This can involve networking, cold calling, attending industry events, using social media, and other lead generation strategies.
Sales Pitch and Presentation: You'll need to articulate the benefits of uisng our services services to potential clients, explaining how their business can improve productivity, security, and efficiency by using the managed services.
Negotiating Deals: When you've convinced a lead to consider the our services, you'll negotiate the terms and pricing of the contract in colloboration with the president. The commission you earn may be a percentage of the total value of the contract.
Closing Sales: Successfully closing deals and getting clients to buy our use our services is crucial. This is when you'll earn your commission, as it's tied to the revenue generated from the sale.
Maintaining Client Relationships: Good salespeople don't just make one-off sales; they also nurture client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and potentially generate repeat business or referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and coaching
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotions
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with overall business strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in sales and marketing strategies
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in developing successful sales and marketing strategies
- In-depth knowledge of wood framing, commercial multi-family construction. Experience with wood wall panels and trusses a plus.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
