Rango Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Highly skilled diesel mechanic who safely performs diagnostic, maintenance and repair of our fleet of OTR vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance, routine interval services, brakes, and additional equipment systems or components.
- Maintain our fleet in a DOT compliant manner.
- Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered. Routine travel is expected, locations are not limited to Texas, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Arizona. More locations may be added as needed.
Job Requirements
- Five (5) years mechanical experience
- A valid Driver’s License
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Must be dependable and report to work on time.
- Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Paccar and Cummins motors
- Kenworth Certified
- DOT certification
- Federal or State Inspector Certified
- Section 609 Tech Training and Certification
- Bendix Brake Training
- Hendrickson Brake Training
- OEM Engine Certification
- ASE Certified
