Our primary objective is to transcend barriers by enhancing brand awareness and promoting our products to both end consumers and B2B retailers. YOUR ROLE: You will be accountable for the development and implementation of all digital marketing initiatives across various platforms. This encompasses paid media, platform enhancements, social advertising, email marketing, and other related strategies. Your role will involve overseeing campaigns and analyzing data to maximize our endeavors and attain optimal outcomes.
We are seeking individuals who can explore conventional cannabis channels and identify untapped avenues ready for transformation. Their goal will be to drive traffic and enhance brand awareness for our website, social media platforms, and, ultimately, our retail partners. Our objective is to attract knowledgeable and enthusiastic customers who are ready to make purchases, thus driving them to the doors of our retailers.
Additionally this role will utilize technology to assist our sales team in opening up B2B awareness leading to new wholesale leads.
*Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Create and manage campaigns on all our Cannabis platforms. Weedmaps, Leafly, LeafLink etc
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Create, execute and manage our email marketing campaigns
Requirements and skills
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
