Requirements:

Basic knowledge and experience, coupled with diagnostic and repair skills, for each of the following trades is preferred: Appliance Repair, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Painting

Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Good written and verbal communication skills

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and criminal background check

Access to dedicated and reliable transportation

Able and willing to work flexible hours and participate in the on-call rotation

Must provide basic hand tools

Able to prioritize and schedule work assignments according to property needs while ensuring an outstanding level of customer service

Ability to work with confidential information

EPA 608 Certification Type I and Type II (preferred)

Able to perform the essential physical qualifications (listed below)
Responsibilities:
-
Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of apartments, buildings, common areas and grounds through Service Requests or direction by Management
-
Inspect property for cleanliness, trash removal, abandoned vehicles etc. and report suspected lease violations to Property Manager
-
Perform seasonal grounds duties as needed
-
Participate in apartment turn-key process and preventative maintenance programs
-
Contribute to the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas, with emphasis on safety concerns and unit keys
-
Participate in the care, maintenance, and inventory of all company owned equipment
-
Application of all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations
-
Effectively communicate with residents, vendors and other employees in a professional and courteous manner
-
Wear appropriate safety equipment as tasks dictate
-
Assist other team members and complete other projects and duties as assigned

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join this busy team servicing various locations throughout York County.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
