Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery.
- Operate office equipment such as postage meters, copiers, and scanners.
- Maintain accurate records of all mail and shipments.
- Assist with inventory management in the mailroom.
- Ensure timely delivery and receipt of all mail and packages.
Experience:
- Prior experience in shipping/receiving or a distribution center is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to load/unload packages and perform heavy lifting when required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Experience using forklifts or RF scanners is advantageous.
- Proficiency in filing and maintaining documentation.
