Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in executing month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and enter accounting journal entries to reflect financial transactions accurately.
- Play a role in basic financial preparation, including compiling data for financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and patterns that could impact decision-making.
- Prepare, read, and interpret financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop basic financial projections to support planning efforts.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain proactive communication with both the team and clients to keep everyone informed and aligned.
- Contribute to day-to-day financial operations of clients, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and budget tracking.
- Collaborate with assigned clients to prepare financial statements, financial schedules, reports, and journal entries on a routine basis.
- Oversee or assist in payroll, accounts payable data entry, client customer invoicing, bill pay, and ACH transactions for specific clients.
- Maintain detailed records of hours worked per client and project on a daily basis.

Experience and Education:
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in executing month-end closing procedures.
- Experience with accounting journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Basic understanding of financial statement preparation and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role will range from $25 per - $30 hour, based on experience.
Job Type and Schedule:
This is a fulltime W2 employee position with work scheduled from Monday to Friday.
