Job Summary: Manages the Security Team for an assigned location.
What is the work?
Management / Training:
- Provides coaching, training, and development for the security team
- Participates in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account
Business Execution / Security:
- Assists in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, and other reports
- Ensures that operational logs, records, and post orders are established and maintained appropriately
- Responsible for Physical Security requirements for the assigned facility
- Regularly inspects all facilities to ensure policies and procedures have been properly implemented
- Handles critical and day-to-day tactical issues independently
- Acts as liaison between departments and local law enforcement
- Maintains access control and alarms systems monitoring for assigned facilities
- Serves as the main point of contact for law enforcement for assigned facilities
- Participates in, and leads internal investigations
- Participates in / leads projects
- Maintains fiscal budget and provides input on capital projects
Preferred Education and Experience
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 5 yrs Security experience
- Previous supervisor experience is a plus
- Alarm, video and access control system background

Physical and Other Requirements
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
- Work extended hours
- On call 24/7/365 w/ exception of scheduled vacation and/or personal holiday time off
