JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT STATUS: FULL TIME, UNION
DEPARTMENT: ADULT DAY CENTER
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, ADC
EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED DIRECTLY: N/A
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform administrative and bookkeeping tasks necessary to ensure program operations.
- Perform data entry tasks necessary to ensure timely and accurate client billing.
- Assist with preparation of program grant applications and ongoing grant reporting responsibilities.
- Assist in complying data for 5310 Grant application.
- Maintain statistics and complete statistical reports
- Assure timely opening and closing of medical records, and documentation filing.
- Enter monthly S-Ride reports, which includes the amount of ridership and maintenance.
- Schedule regular needed maintenance and repairs.
- Provide NJ Transit with current required certificate of insurance.
- Responsible for ordering supplies needed: office, food, paper,etc. and maintaining inventory.
- Assist with Activity Groups, as needed
- Assist with Personal Care and toileting of clients as needed.
- Provides coverage for support staff, as assigned, as needed.
- Will perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by VHS management without giving up the right to the grievance process.
- Adhere to requirements in General Skills Evaluation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Minimum High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Good organizational, communication, and office skills. Proficiency in computer skills ie. Microsoft office
Other Requirements:
1. Annual Mantoux test.
2. History and Physical every two years.
Physical: Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor client needs, recognize clients, and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills for legible written documentation and use of keyboard.
Ability to work required hours and fulfill job requirements.
