Qualifications:
- Preferred to have American Red Cross certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Lifeguard Instructor (LGI)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Customer service skills
- Experience in pump room operations and water chemistry
- Familiar in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Work well under pressure
- Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record
Job Duties:
· Ensure safety and cleanliness is #1 priority at all facilities
· Ensure facilities are kept to the standards of the company and the customers
· Reports directly to Director of Operations
· Handle disciplinary issues with employees and patrons
· Provide conflict resolution to customers and staff members
· Opening facilities to GHPM standards
· Maintaining daily operation of facilities
· Perform winterizing and off season maintenance
· Training seasonal staff on pump room operations and chemical safety and handling
· Collaborate with property manager and community Board of Directors to enhance facilities
· Oversee scheduling of facilities
· Ensure staff is properly trained specific to their job duties
· Maintain open communication with other team members regarding urgent issues at facilities
· Respond to customer demands
· Inventory equipment
· Assist Human Resource Department with recruiting and hiring of seasonal staff
· Involved with disciplinary meetings with field staff members
· Controlling budgets including man hours and outward expenditures to maximize profits
· Promote a safe atmosphere by proper and continual training and audits
· Assist the on-site operations manager with issues or concerns that occur throughout the year
· Maintain the pools in swim ready conditions
· Recognition and discipline of employees when necessary
· Complete scheduled tasks and paperwork correctly and on time
· Promote the professional image that GHPM demands
· Attend weekly meeting with managers
· Maintain, compete and ensure that all weekly reports are turned in by set deadlines
· Ensure all billing aspects as assigned are completed by set deadlines
· Lead all seasonal manager meetings
· Oversee seasonal Area Supervisor
· Maintain and oversee usage in accordance to chemical budgets
· Participate in any and all full-time staff meetings
