Position Description:
The University Housing and Residence Experience (UHRE) is seeking an Associate Director Organizational Development. This position is responsible for overall organizational development processes of the complex operation that is UHRE. This position is responsible for long term strategic planning, under advisement of the Executive Director, and setting the path for measurable success to enhance the resident experience. This position supervises both the quality assurance and information technology sub-units of the entire operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizational Development
- Assess current operational strategies throughout the entire organization and recommend changes that maximize satisfaction and achievement in all areas.

Develop long term strategic planning across the department to streamline process and procedures, improve cost efficiencies, strengthen customer satisfaction, and enhance employee well-being.

Oversight of all professional staff recruitment and selection strategies�for the department.
Supervision of Quality Assurance and Resident Technology sub-units.-
Determine standards for success in both areas and provide day to day support and guidance for both Assistant Directors leading these sub-units.

Establish benchmarks for their work order systems for each and streamline where possible.

Guide each sub-unit lead to develop themselves and their personnel to their maximum potential possible.
Benchmarking and Special Projects-
Management of routine and project-based benchmarking and research to support departmental decision-making.

Assume coordination and management of special projects as requested by the Executive Director

Serve on the UHRE Leadership Team
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with organizational development, quality assurance, technological support, systems design thinking, and business management systems.

Experience in effectively balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder groups.
