Substitute Teacher Service (STS) is looking for a Recruitment Assistant in the Human Resources Department to support our recruiting and onboarding activities, for our busy, fast-paced Lancaster office.
The position will start as soon as possible, for the best candidate who meets the criteria described herein. This position is currently offered as a 10.5 month position with 6 weeks off during the summer or fulltime 12 months. You will have the ability to collect unemployment during the 6 weeks off in the summer if you choose the 10.5 month option.
Responsibilities: As a member of the Human Resources Team, courteous and professional representatives will provide exceptional customer service. Your day to day tasks will include sitting at the front desk greeting all visitors, supporting recruiting teams with clerical duties, initial applicant screening, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate database and handling paperwork. Ultimately, you’ll help us hire efficiently and keep our hiring process running.
Candidate requirements: Working knowledge of computers; Internet usage of third-party software; Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Word, Excel and Access); Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational and time management skills. Technical support experience is also preferred but not mandatory.

- High school diploma and/or higher education
- 2+ Years of Human Resources and/or office experience
