Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs under the supervision of nursing staff
- Provide basic patient care and comfort measures
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain aseptic techniques
- Support patients in infectious disease care, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) use, and hospice care
- Provide care in various settings such as clinics, senior care facilities, Level II Trauma Centers, and behavioral health units
Requirements:
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or relevant healthcare certification
- Experience in patient care and familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health records systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient service
- Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and experience in hospice care is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Understanding of senior care principles and practices
