Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Asset Protection Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily team huddles with both teams
- Connect with your team on assignments, priorities, area performance, cross-training, and feedback
- Review schedules and support coverage gaps of AP Ops and AP Service teams, and AP Investigators in the absence of an AP Ops Coach
- Support Store Manager, AP Ops Coach, and Asset Protection team
- Partner with AP Ops Coach to fulfil any hiring opportunities
- Follow up to backroom areas being set up correctly with routine controls in place, such as vendor badges/processes, and safety practices in place
- Confirm invoices/bill of ladings from Garden Center, ACC, etc. are being provided to AP Ops TA daily
- Follow up to unfinalized ASNs
- Follow up to the high-ticket receiving process execution
- Drive associates to file warehouse damages in the Receiving App
- Verify BPM Tasks are answered timely
- Follow up to receiving end of day activities
- Complete donations and disposal cartons
- Follow up to donations being shipped timely
- Support associates in selecting the first option adherence rate in Claims App
- Audit donation and disposal cartons
- Conduct Box Audits
- Follow up to open claims and unprocessed Walmart.com orders
- Confirm Hazwaste compliance measures are completed
- Follow up to returns being brought from the Service Desk back to Claims
- Review Salesfloor clearance areas and confirm salesfloor associates are processing CVP and disposal actions in the Claims app
AP Service Team
- Follow up to vestibule cleanliness, spill cleanup, and mat program usage
- Follow up to removing Merchandise Protection devices from products at the entrance, and getting those devices back to be used again
- Follow up to Service Team interacting and communicating with the AP Investigator(s)
- Support Greet. Help. Thank. practices at the front door
Experience:
- Previous experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and report writing
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Possession of relevant certifications in asset protection or related fields is a plus
