Summary
**This position is fully remote and is per diem, requiring a minimum of 8-10 hours per week**
**Pay range: $40 - $45 hourly (evening differential available)
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, LICSW) to join our Behavioral Health team. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model..

Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices

Provide individual counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities

Participate in collaborative care team meetings
-
Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board and PMP requirements

Complete required documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner

Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Take timely action when patient emergencies occur and remain knowledgeable of company crisis policies and procedures
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field

Licensure required in the state(s) practicing
-
Prior experience providing psychotherapy to pediatric and adolescent patients
-
Prior experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred
-
Ability to effectively interact, work and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds

Knowledge of medical terminology
-
Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent short-term counseling skills
-
Prior experience with discharge planning
