Set Solutions is looking for an interim Director of IT Field Services for a client in Atlanta, GA. As the Interim Director of IT Field Service Operations within the Digital Department at a prominent healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across multiple facilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing a team of technicians and specialists dedicated to providing desktop and device support, while ensuring that all IT activities align with organizational objectives and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the IT field service operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of field service technicians and desktop support specialists to ensure their effectiveness in their roles.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance IT technical operations and service delivery processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of IT field service operations and implement improvements as necessary.
- Technical Infrastructure Support:
- Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of IT infrastructure across facilities.
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of desktops, devices, and other end-user computing equipment to maintain security and performance standards.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on IT operations and addressing concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT operations with organizational objectives and priorities.
