Huntington County Community Corrections Department has openings for Part Time Living Unit Coordinators for the Restorative Residential Work Release/Community Corrections department.
This position is responsible for the daily supervision of participants of the work release program utilizing prescribed policies and procedures, ensures a secure, safe and humane environment for individuals serving executed sentences through the use of evidence based practices.
A successful candidate will have successfully completed a High School Diploma or GED and experience in the area of criminal justice, social work, or counseling.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to empower program participants to make life-changing decisions by providing appropriate and specific evaluation, analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Successful candidates must have the ability to provide public access to or maintain confidentiality of department information and records according to state requirements, as well as work with a diverse group of people.
