Sales Specialist - Charter Sales
Bauer's Intelligent Transportation accommodates individuals, corporations, educational facilities, government agencies, and even airports, with one of the largest fleets in America— over 150 luxury vehicles — from state-of–the-art eco-luxury business shuttles to black car & VIP services.
This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to develop new business prospects from multiple sources. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential. Must possess excellent communication skills and be an enthusiastic member of a sales team.

Description of Responsibilities:*

Marketing*
- Prepare materials as needed for meetings, careers events and networking opportunities
Project Support
- Attend project meetings to gain knowledge of the project milestones and update the project management system accordingly
- Assist project team with graphic materials as needed
- Create, edit, and manage proposal templates to be used in various pursuits
- Knowledge in creating responses to RFI, RFQ, and RFPs, documentation and proposal management
Sales
- Understand lead qualification and work with the sales team to develop process and accuracy.
- Follow up on prospecting opportunities to the regional sales team and customers to further qualify potential leads.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and in-person meetings.
- Generating new leads, organizing leads gathered, tracking due dates for bids due and following up on proposals submitted.
- Meet weekly with sales department to discuss department activities and status of projects
- Organizing priorities for projects
- Call and gather information when bids are lost to others
- Responding to clients within 24 hours
- Assist with estimates and proposal process
- Demonstrated experience and competency in managing and building wholesale and retail charter accounts.
- Must provide prompt and accurate price quoting to customers and follow-up on quotes to determine results.
- Must be able to handle high call/email volume and produce quotes in an expedited fashion.
- Constantly update and maintain an accurate customer preference database.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at trade shows and industry/marketing events.
- Ensure a consistent performance of sales objectives each month by meeting required sales quotas.
- Continue to build your book of business through participating in events, outbound sales effort and general relationship development in the industry.
- Generate new business leads by developing relationships with brokers and maintaining prospect lists.
- Follow up with clients post trip to ensure satisfaction in a professional and timely manner. • Assist with cargo charter sales in addition to standard passenger charter sales.

Minimum Qualifications*
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role in the Transportation or Hospitality industry.
- Must have proposal experience
- B.S. or B.A. Degree preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in managing deadline driven marketing / administrative projects
- Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are required
- Candidate must be proficient in the complete MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP),
- Ability to conduct final QC check, including proofreading for grammar and RFP/Q compliance
- Candidate will also need the following attributes: energetic, positive attitude, flexible, team player, good time management skills, detail oriented, and extremely organized
- Must have a flexible approach to work and be willing to help where needed.
