Accounts Payable Associate, Wall Township NJ
$52 - $55K Plus Excellent Benefit Package
Hybrid Schedule 4 in ofc/1 WFH
Candidate will handle the entire accounts payable process - must proactively communicate with regard to discrepancies, errors, or vendor concerns; must be organized, diligent and demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Audits invoices, expense reports, and other disbursements for approval in accordance with company policies
- Properly codes and posts accounts payable transactions to the general ledger
- Monitors past due invoices and follows up with appropriate parties
- Prepares and maintains accurate accounts payable reporting as needed
- Prepares monthly and quarterly commission statements
- Acquires appropriate signatures on checks and check vouchers
- Assists with year-end Audit as needed
- Assists with maintaining Accounts Payable policies to ensure internal control
- Other special projects/related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of accounts payable experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
- Microsoft Word, Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college preferred
- Sage500
