Customer Service Position FT

BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.
We have immediate openings for our Customer Service position,
Full Time – Mon thru Fri - Start time 5 PM
$20.00 Per hour
What you will do on a typical shift:
- Handle customer inquiries
- Answering incoming calls from customers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries of freight to both commercial and residential customers
- Data entry of customers’ information for scheduling and tracking of freight within the BSP system
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide information about the products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:
- Must have successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
- previous experience in a transportation or warehouse environment preferred
- Previous experience in customer service
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products
