POSITION: Law Graduate Job Search Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director of the Career Development Center
STATUS: Full-time, Contract
RANGE: $30.00 per hour
The Law Graduate Job Search Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting recent law school graduates in their job search process by providing curated job postings and regular updates.
Responsibilities include:

Sending a minimum of 5 curated job postings to each recent law school graduate bi-weekly.

Connecting with each graduate bi-weekly for job search updates and support.

Collecting employment details from graduates as they accept job offers.

Manage a database to track graduates' job search progress, including application status, interview outcomes, and employment offers, to ensure accurate reporting to the career development team.

Providing updates on job search efforts to the career development team at weekly meetings.

Utilizing data analytics to track job placement trends and outcomes and using insights to enhance job search support services.
Required:

Bachelor’s degree.

Professional communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Preferred:

Prior experience in recruiting or working within a career office.

Familiarity with the legal job market.

Experience working in a higher education setting.

Adeptness in utilizing technology and online platforms for job search and networking purposes.
Work environment:
This position is hybrid combining remote work with in-person presence.
