Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced trucking equipment sales professional to serve as the lead on-site salesperson at our Lakeland, FL dealership location. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the semi-truck and semi-trailer industry, a proven track record of sales success, and exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the Lakeland, FL dealership location.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
· Conduct thorough product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Nationwide Haul's equipment.
· Actively prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
· Collaborate with the finance and leasing departments to facilitate seamless transactions for customers.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
· Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management.
· Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support for customers.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in trucking equipment sales, preferably in semi-truck and semi-trailer sales.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Knowledge of financing and leasing options within the trucking industry is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
