Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in the system
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate appointments
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist, medical receptionist, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental or medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental/medical software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Edge Ortho2 or similar systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
