Grantham Children’s Academy provides a welcoming and supportive child care environment where learning and exploration are encouraged through hands-on activities and play-based curriculums. We take our lead from the children and offer activities to further their interests and knowledge in whatever areas they are excited about.

As a member of the teaching team, meet the care, developmental and educational needs for a designated age group of children within Grantham Children's Academy. Work with all staff to create a warm, positive, homelike environment that fosters supportive relationships between families and staff. Help provide a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment both in and out of doors.
We are very supportive of staff training and growing with the organization, and pay scales over time with years of experience.
Duties may include:
- General management and oversight of daycare operations
- Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
- Preparing meals and snacks for the kids
- Organizing activities and developing curriculum for older children
- Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
- Keeping records of each child's progress, interests, and any problems that may occur
- Maintaing contact with the children's parents and contacting them in the case of emergency
- Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
Certifications (preferred / not required):
- Associates in Early Childhood or related field
- Bachelors in Early Childhood or related field
- CDA
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
