Role Purpose
As its main objective the jobholder will play a vital role in developing the sustained financial viability of the site and will be directly accountable for all areas of financial control, internal reporting, budget preparation, fiscal reporting and audit intervention.
As part of a transversal team, he/she will work closely with the logistics, commercial, production and technical departments in identifying areas for cost reduction and delivering ‘Best in Class’ lead times.
Additionally, the office holder will work with peers in ensuring that the loading of the factory is optimized around delivering value. This will include working, reporting and delivering on capital investments and projects to improve profitability, cash generation, capacity and stock holding. The incumbent will have direct responsibility of the local accounts/administrative function; will oversee IT strategy and security; and will also be responsible for protecting Arjobex Inc interests in matters of litigation
Main Responsibilities
- Financial control of the site, ensuring that all local and group reporting is done accurately, efficiently and in adherence with, tax laws, accounting standards.
- Ensure that all local financial statements, budgets, forecasts, reporting and ad-hoc information requests are coordinated, communicated, understood and delivered on time and in the required format.
- Preparation and submission of monthly financial accounts
Main Responsibilities
- Financial control of the site, ensuring that all local and group reporting is done accurately, efficiently and in adherence with, tax laws, accounting standards.
- Ensure that all local financial statements, budgets, forecasts, reporting and ad-hoc information requests are coordinated, communicated, understood and delivered on time and in the required format.
- Preparation and submission of monthly financial accounts.
- Treasury and credit control, including working with the commercial/quality departments in resolving customer disputes; highlighting solvency issues; and taking appropriate actions of recourse against parties demonstrating liquidity issues (bad or doubtful debts), while at all times protecting the company’s interests.
- Provide regular management indicators and analysis (both financial and non-financial) to senior management showing company performance and evolution. This includes (but not limited to) the presentation of data around product profitability, markets, and limiting factor as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and up to date product costing (ERP in use is called Fourth Shift).
- Develop product profitability understanding and manage standard product costing (including standard profit per customer), highlighting and delivering on areas of cost improvement leading to a lean manufacturing process in line with the company strategy and business objectives as set by the company head office.
- Work with production, maintenance, technical, research & development, and head office to validate profitability assumptions for product development and raw material substitution, highlighting areas of risk or improvement as required.
- Work at all levels to identify areas for reducing costs and improving efficiency, data analysis and throughput.
- Work with all relevant parties on capital investment projects delivering data and analytical support as well as post installation audit reviews confirming if the projects were delivered on time, on budget and in line with expectations.
- Oversee and ensure that employee and employer contributions are maintained for the company’s 401(k) plan.
- Support the local production, commercial, purchasing and logistical functions so that the company delivers ‘best in class’ lead times, credit control, and inventory management. Identifying areas of weakness and opportunity as necessary.
- Functionally responsible for local IT, telecommunication and multimedia matters including security, policies, disaster recovery, contract support and negotiation. Working as necessary with local contractors.
- As required perform corporate secretary duties in protecting the company’s legal interests, including relationship management (where necessary) with lawyers; and managing the local terms & conditions of business.

- Manage IT & telecommunications infrastructure, including disaster recovery, system upgrades and integration.
Experience and qualifications required
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role for an industrial site belonging to a larger group of companies.
- Good understanding of US GAAP to include experience of group financial reporting for an international company.
- Strong knowledge of full product costing and variance analysis
- Demonstrable experience of credit control and cash management.
- Proven experience of contributing towards the profit improvement of an organization.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing skills and techniques.
- Strong IT skills including management experience of industrial ERP application (ideally Infor’s Fourth Shift) for both financial and non-financial purposes.
- Proven experience in influencing corporate decision making and implementing company strategy.
- Ability to deliver financial information to non-financial people

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
