NorthStar Management & Consulting, Inc., currently has one maintenance position available for South Tucson. This position can be PART TIME or FULL TIME. Full time, will be split among other properties. On call a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare Market Ready apartments, which may include painting, general repairs and any necessary duties to provide our residents with that quality move-in experience.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude.
- Requires knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, swamp coolers, chillers, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, and painting.
- Maintain grounds/common areas, to include pools, to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents.
- Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Manager.
- Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
- Perform duties as assigned, in a timely manner
- Deliver superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty mentioned. Must have valid driver’s license with operable vehicle. Have own tools to perform the various jobs assigned. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
