Job Summary:
The Plates & Invoicing Specialist will perform assigned duties related to dealer payments and invoices. This role is also responsible for balancing and processing finished work returned by the DMV.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Balance finished work returned by the DMV. Ensure plates are matched correctly and funds are in the file. Ship out using mailing instructions on internal systems.
· Create dealer invoices according to company practices, balancing processed work to funds in the file.
· Issue refunds to dealers for overpayments.
· Update check amounts in internal systems for new work received.
· Update check amounts for checks processed by the DMV.
· Update status and upload completed documents for walk-in states.
· Answer customer questions by researching accounts.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Ability to type 30 words per minute.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
· Experience with Quickbooks accounting software.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· One year of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation:
· $20-21/hourly DOE
