Responsibilities: - Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses - Develop and maintain client relationships - Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options - Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations - Meet sales targets and goals set by the company Skills: - Strong telemarketing skills to reach out to potential clients - Proficient in sales administration, including maintaining client records and processing policy applications - Proven experience in insurance sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus, as it allows for effective communication with diverse clients - Retail sales experience is beneficial, as it demonstrates customer service skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality - Multilingual abilities are advantageous, as they enable communication with clients who speak different languages - Knowledge of benefits administration to assist clients in selecting appropriate coverage options - Ability to analyze the market and identify potential leads or opportunities for business growth - Excellent customer service skills to provide personalized assistance to clients This job description provides an overview of the responsibilities and skills required for the position of Insurance Agent.
