Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their journey.
- Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up care with dental providers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to prioritize patient needs and optimize scheduling.
- Actively listen to patient concerns and address them with empathy and professionalism.
- Facilitate communication between patients and clinical team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as payments, insurance verification, and data entry as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Patient Care Coordinator in a dental setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental processes preferred.
- Experience with patient management software.
- Dental experience is required; ideal for dental assistants looking to transition into administration.
