VP of Product Management @ SpotHero:
The Vice President of Product Management is responsible for leading the product management team to continued strategic growth. They own the strategy and vision of a suite of consumer (B2C) and operator (B2B) products that drive our marketplace forward, define and analyze qualitative and quantitative data that drives the success of our products, the financial success of our company, and provide a strong product management voice in meetings with an understanding of department heads' core goals and how they affect product choices and delivery. All while ensuring operational excellence of the entire product management team represented in annual and quarterly plans and the delivery against them.
What you will do:
- Manage and coach a team of product managers and product leaders.
- Drive results by providing pointed, useful feedback.
- Ensure that project deadlines are met successfully, and that intended outcomes of the work are clearly known and communicated.
- Live and breathe a test and learn ethos leading to smart risk taking.
- Track and analyze KPIs, reporting data to leadership on a regular basis.
- Assist team in navigating relationships with business stakeholders and end users.
- Develop training plans for continuous development of the team's skills and to work towards career goals.
- Work with senior leadership to lead, develop, and grow the Product Management team.
- Responsible for building and growing top performing teams, including the hiring/firing, training, performance management, and professional development of each and every team member.
- Present, oversee, and produce product management deliverables including, but not limited to, vision statements, strategy documents, and prioritized roadmaps.
- Facilitate and oversee discovery activities such as ideation, research, documentation, etc.
- Champion and lead growth optimizations that will maximize product performance via advanced research and data driven methodologies.
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to create innovative, best-in-class, customer-centric solutions. Strong ability to lead engagements to provide a strong voice for product within blended teams including senior leadership, other departments, and external clients.
- Responsible for the establishment of product management standards, deliverables and methodologies within the organization.
- Be an industry thought leader, participating in public speaking events and panels to showcase SpotHero as a leader in transportation and in technology.

- Secure and safeguard data to preserve its integrity, reliability, and availability and ensure appropriate access levels are maintained.

What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years experience in product management and with 5+ years experience in a people management role.
- Strong background in e-commerce or marketplace technologies preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, aggressive, and dynamic technical projects with competing resources and priorities.
- Experience managing and growing a 15+ person product team
- Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
- Experience leading a product team through a company's growth phase.
