We are seeking a talented and thoughtful strategic leader responsible for overseeing department strategy, client relationships and client growth. The Director, Client Services, together with their Account Services team, will work to ensure that the entire client journey, from onboarding to delivery to renewals and expansion, is positive, efficient, and optimized for the success of our amazing clients. We are looking for someone who has a strong track record of running a successful client success program in a fast growing agency environment and is passionate about websites, paid, and organic search and their impact on business growth.
The Director, Client Services, will coordinate day-to-day customer support operations while working closely with department VP and Directors. Aside from supervising account managers and other team members, the Director, Client Services will implement strategic initiatives, develop best practices, and ensure that deadlines and standards are met all while maintaining the highest level of service and support to the client. This role requires an experienced leader who excels at decision-making and project management.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Supporting the client services organization alongside VP, including systems, structures, and processes, to achieve our ambitious revenue goals.
- Leading, rapidly growing, and coaching team members by setting the strategy and prioritizing our organizational goals.
- Coach, mentor and supervise team; demonstrate strong leadership, provide direction and professional development.
- Establish, strengthen and expand relationships with clients and the full CAMP team to deliver excellent client service, aligning with the CAMP client experience expectations.
- Ensure clients maximize their success with CAMP deliverables + support.
- Take a consultative approach to learning, understanding and supporting client business objectives and needs.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to deliver creativity and business acumen to drive growth and opportunity for clients and prospects.
- Partner with all internal CAMP functions to assist in the management and implementation of all assigned client projects, including budget, timeline, resources, scope of work, change requests, etc. as needed.
- Serve as the voice of the client internally and the voice of CAMP externally - and acting as the trusted voice of the client by bringing insights into strategy and business development.
- Collaborating with the marketing team and senior leadership to create client success enablement assets and playbooks to help educate clients on new or trending products and services offered by CAMP.
- Handle client escalations, cancellations, and feedback requests.
- Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while promoting company values and culture.
- Understand the CAMP business model and deliver results.
- Develop creative solutions, identify opportunities, and coordinate initiatives to promote client engagement and drive client success.
- Delivering strategic insights that can be leveraged across the team to improve results.
Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of staff management experience.
- 4+ years of account management experience that focused on excellent customer service.
- Digital Marketing experience and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication/Marketing or related field a plus.
- Excellent communication skills; oral, written, and presentation.
- Strategic leader with the ability to oversee day-to-day operations, monitor team performance and drive excellence in the department.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts and/or problems.
- Ability to maintain order in an environment of ever-changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, self-motivated working under minimal supervision.
