Licensed Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities for Licensed Veterinary Technician;
- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Monitor and care for animals post-surgery
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
Requirements:
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician
- Proficiency in animal handling, including dog training and dog handling
- Knowledge of animal husbandry, physiology, and care
- Experience with animal catheterization and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners
