Duties and Responsibilities
Able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and aesthetic solutions to meet the needs of our clients
Possess a general understanding of massage therapy and and be willing to train in our Endermologie and Velashape treatments.
Possess excellent communication skills
Actively promote treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
Possess a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities and facial treatments.
Able to consistently provide professional massage and facial treatments in accordance with med spa protocols and accepted license practices
Effectively informs and educates clients about specific aesthetic and wellness concerns
Understands the importance of caring for equipment, using appropriate amounts of product, keeping the therapy rooms stocked and tidy
Regularly attends training and staff meetings
Can confidently handle and respond to clients and Guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Demonstrable experience of working for long periods of time without direct supervision
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the med spa's policies and procedures
Qualifications
A current and maintained massage state license
A current and maintained esthetician license
Minimum of three years of professional experience in spa, club or resort setting as a licensed massage therapist, licensed esthetician, or both
A current and clean drivers license
Able to speak English fluently
Able to reach with hands and arms
Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds
Required to spend long periods on own feet
Velashape and Endermologie experience (preferred, but not required).
