Summary/Objective
The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all production. Scheduling and directing the employees in workflow for Production.
Essential Functions

Analyze processes for improvements.

Recommends methods of improving equipment for better efficiency.

Maintains KPI information to track problems and recommend improvements.

Supervisory Responsibility
Responsible for the hourly employees in Production departments.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers. This position works both inside the plant and outside as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop or kneel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with overtime required as dictated by the workload.

Some travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience

High school diploma

Three to four years supervisory responsibilities in a fabrication and manufacturing environment.
