Bridal Attendant/Server
JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
The Wedding Attendant/Server’s job is to execute River Stone Manor’s steps of service at the highest quality level while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance. The Wedding Attendant will assist the Event Coordinator in guiding the couple, parents and bridal party though the tasks of their wedding formalities and providing them with food and beverage.

POSITION DETAILS
Wedding Attendant Accountabilities:
- Review all event paperwork with the Event Coordinator, including Banquet Event Order (BEO), timeline, floor plan and list of requests from wedding couple.
- Set up and maintain cleanliness of the bridal suite, ensuring food, beverages and other items are in place.
- Provide a friendly welcome upon arrival to the wedding couple and wedding party, escorting them to the Bridal Suite and ensuring all requests are met.
- Assist with event flow, keeping the wedding couple and wedding party on schedule.
- Assist Event Coordinator in ceremony line up
- Assist the wedding party with all detail items including the handing out of bouquets, pinning boutonnieres, and knowing where members of wedding party are at all times
- Remain visible and accessible to the wedding couple, wedding party and any other designated VIPs, ensuring availability to address questions and handle issues
- Neatly packing up all of the couples’ belongings and décor items at the end of the night for load out as directed and described by the Event Coordinator
- Packaging of the cake top and any additional food items for the couple to take home.
- Complete breakdown of bridal suite at the end of event.
Server Accountabilities:
- Assists in the proper set-up and take down of all catered events.
- Attends all pre-function meetings to review all details of the event with Banquet Manager
- Communicates feedback from guests and/or associates to the Event Manager and/or Captain
- Is familiar with all food being served at events including preparation, main ingredients, side dishes and garnishes, and any allergies listed
- Takes orders using menu cards with position numbers by confirming with the guests at the table
- Clears each table thoroughly between courses removing soiled silverware and glassware
- Completes quality checks immediately after each course is served
- When possible, assists fellow servers with table maintenance in order to exceed guest expectations as a team
- Maintains cleanliness and order of server stations
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong work ethic, guest-focused attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours
- Flexibility; working varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
