The Pfister Faucets Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, innovating, and directing the company’s short and long-range product plans to expand and drive overall growth for the entire Retail Bath Products portfolio. Product decisions, specs, marketing strategies, and commercialization will be largely influenced via research and data analysis generated by and recommended by the Sr. Product Marketing Manager. We’re looking for an exceptional talent with proven success in developing strategic product marketing roadmaps through an incredible eye for style and design along with a passion for winning.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· (60%) - New Product Development (NPI)
o Lead cross-functional team (engineering, sourcing, supply chain, finance, and consumer insights) through multiple on-going product development projects at various stages of development via HHI milestone process.
o Develop and execute strategic and innovative product road. Understand market, channel and/or customer dynamics, product design, trends, and end–user preferences and purchase drivers.
o Identify and develop new business opportunities, product adjacencies, and markets.
o Develop NPI scope documents (preliminary financials, KPI’s, timeline management, etc.)
o Author 3-year portfolio strategic plan.
o Attend global supplier and factory trips (pilot). Overseas travel required.
o Present and interact with senior level internal and external customers.
· (20%) – Talent Development
o Effectively coaches, mentors, and guides cross-functional peers and subordinate team members to achieve business and portfolio goals. Deploys situational leadership to ensure group objectives are met, with an eye towards managing future direct reports.
o Actively participates in Performance Management, Individual Development Plan creation and Goal Planning as part of preparing for advancement and leadership within the organization.
· (10%) - Portfolio Maintenance
o Accountable for overall portfolio performance deliverables.
o Achieve new product introduction vitality and hurdle rate metrics.
o Responsible for portfolio performance: sales & gross margin, pricing, P&L, asset management, etc.
o Support brand guidelines to ensure consistency, with specific influence on packaging, product images, merchandising, and collateral related to assigned projects.
o Facilitate product related materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews, and business reviews. Includes but not limited to product renderings, samples, associated market and trend details, mood boards, etc.
o Work with quality and brand to support installation workshops, videos, market research and related initiatives.
o Own product life cycle.
· (10%) – Business Processes
o Contribute to HHI financial and business initiatives through established rhythms and assigned projects. Examples include sales and operations planning to improve forecast accuracy or inventory initiatives tied to working capital.
o Support the management of the on-line databases to ensure proper content. (internal as well as customer websites)
o Manage product documentation process including mix management, product life cycle. Generate reports, tools as required.
o Manage special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience Profile
· Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA/MS preferred.
· Minimum 7+ years in Product Development, Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Sales with a history of escalating responsibility and track record of results.
· Ideal Candidates will have fashion plumbing category experience within the retail Home Center segment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
