Responsibilities of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
- Work in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist and care team to administer anesthesia to patients
- Perform assessment and evaluation of patients prior to administration of anesthesia
- Obtain & administer pre-anesthetic medications and fluid after obtaining patient consent
- Monitor, evaluate and facilitate patient recovery
- Willing to train into the Pediatric Setting
Requirements of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
- Graduate from a nurse Anesthesia educational program & Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
