Methodist is seeking an experienced Administrator of Facilities who understands physical plant operations and the need to ensure all plant systems are operating effectively and efficiently.

Primary Function: This position has primary responsibility for:
- the oversight and management of the vehicle maintenance system
- physical upkeep, repair, and maintenance of Methodist's main campus and off-site grounds and buildings
- management of staff.
- This position is tasked with overseeing facilities operations, managing facilities budgets, directing routine maintenance, respondng to emergencies, managing risk, managing contractors, overseeing security, and conducting site inspections. Individual may occasionally be required to perform hands-on maintenance repairs.
Education: High School diploma or GED. At least 2 years of college credits and certification in at least one area of maintenance service from an accredited trade school preferred.
Experience: Supervisory experience and familiarity with institution operations required. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repair. Related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience gained in the construction trades preferred.
Valid Driver's License required

- Ability to read and proficiently interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, procedure manuals, and blueprints
- Ability to interpret correctly and carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Knowledge of facilities management, engineering, or property management
- Computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations and laws (E.g., OSHA...)
- Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must be 18 years or older, pass pre-hire Health Assessment including a urinary drug screen and complete required background checks.
