Requirements:
- Experience working with autistic children, especially non-verbal students
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficiency in developing and delivering stimulating activities tailored to the student's needs and interests
- Strong behavior management skills, with a focus on positive reinforcement and patience
- Collaborative approach to working with parents, therapists, and other professionals
Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
