Description:
The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for providing a physical presence at the store to deter theft, respond to electronic article surveillance (EAS) alarm activations, and customer service.
- Provides a visible security presence in the front of the store.
- Monitors and prevents external theft by safely following policies and procedures.
- Monitors and prevents internal theft by monitoring team compliance with Point of Sale (POS) transactions.
- Conducts regular in-store training for all associates, effectively promoting safety, security, and acceptable loss prevention interactions.
- Ensures safety procedures are followed.
- Communicates regularly and effectively with the Loss Prevention Division Investigator and General Manager of the store.
