The Contract Support Specialist II will provide acquisition and grant support services as related to the full spectrum of acquisition activities.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
- Ensure contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements, and inter-agency agreements are awarded per designated service level agreement (SLA) and in accordance with requisite statutes.
- Provide intermediate support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement in which expertise is required such as:
- Preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages, actively participating in developing and managing acquisition plans.
- Preparing/researching support documentation, making quality recommendations to the Contracting officer,
- Handling and resolving problems.
- Validating data, and otherwise completing actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer and/or closeout Government contracts or task/delivery orders.
- Monitor status of and support de-obligating undelivered orders (UDOs).
- Assist in preparing simplified acquisitions which shall include purchase orders issued up to the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT) and shall include GSA and GWAC orders.
- Remain in compliance with the FAR, the requisite staff manual guides, and policies, which shall be specified in each ITO.
- Comply with the Service Level Agreements (SLA) times for simplified acquisitions.
- Assist in preparing Interagency Agreements (IAAs) which includes agreements with other Federal Agencies. Additionally, this may involve the Government providing or receiving a transfer of funds, provision of services, loan of staff, use of property, facilities, or equipment, or exchange of information.
- Interagency agreement representative activities include, but are not limited to:
- Process IAA actions with various dollar thresholds, size, & complexity; obtains & analyzes responses; and prepares supporting documentation for the file;
- Provide a full range of IAA related scheduling, development, award, administration, and termination services;
- Maintain and updates various office files and spreadsheets;
- Perform special assignments and projects to support leadership;
- Complete various reports, monitor accordingly and summarize;
- Respond to inquiries on the status of various IAA actions;
- Research various regulatory sources in the fulfillment of assigned requirements;
- Respond to program office personnel and vendor questions and complaints;
- Performs related work as required; and
- Attend training courses as directed and sponsored by the Government.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of contract work experience based on the Contract Specialist (GS-1102) Qualification Standard
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 24 semester hours of business-related college courses.
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a favorable background check.
US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
Salary Range: $59,000-$69,000
