Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) Charlotte, NC Job Description:
Pediatric Advanced Therapy (PAT) is seeking a motivated and energetic professional to join our growing team as a full-time Floater RBT. This is a guaranteed 40 hour per week position covering clients at 5 of our northeast Charlotte area clinics. The clinic locations are Concord (2 locations), Huntersville, Salisbury, and University City. The RBT will typically spend the whole day in the same clinic as assigned by the scheduling team.
Our RBTs are responsible for providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in a clinic setting. RBT’s and BT’s are responsible for implementing skill acquisition goals and Behavior Intervention Plans designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
40-Hour Course
An accredited 40-hour behavior technician course must be completed before start date of employment. We accept completed certificates if you have already completed the course with another organization. If you have not completed the course, PAT will provide course information to you upon your hire for you to complete before your employment start date.
The current availability needed for this position is:
Monday-Friday - 9-6 - schedule may vary slightly depending on clients' needs. Candidate MUST be able to work until 6 p.m., no exceptions.
We are looking for professionals who really want to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. PAT will provide initial training for new technicians and ongoing supervision from a BCBA.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children in the areas of communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
- Record objective daily data to reflect client progress towards goals
- Maintain objective daily session notes
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred– preferably in a human service field (Education, health care related, etc.)
- Associate's Degree required
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, BT experience considered. Candidate MUST have ABA experience to qualify for this floater position.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
