The Arc of Idaho is currently seeking a candidate who can work Monday to Friday 6am-9am in our Assisted Living Homes located near downtown Boise/BSU area. Job requires transporting residents in company van. Must have an ID drivers license and good driving record. More hours are available if needed.

The Arc Idaho is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We have part-time and full-time openings for Direct Care Professionals. DSP’s work directly with adults with I/DD, assisting them in learning skills to become more involved in our community and increase their independence. Each day includes a variety of work and no two days are the same. It’s perfect for those looking for part-time work to earn extra income, and perfect for retiree’s or students looking for flexible part-time work! The Arc has great employees who value each other and are eager to welcome new staff on board. The Arc has the following open shifts:
- Monday to Friday 6am-9am and additional hours if needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have Idaho Driver’s license, qualified personal vehicle and own vehicle insurance.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire with no cost to the employee.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation with no cost to the employee.
Responsibilities:
- Working with program participants in their homes, the community and/or in our center-based program.
- Assisting adults with disabilities in achieving their dreams of independence.
- As DSP you will teach program participants basic life skills and/or job skills and making a real difference in their lives and in your community.
